| When I register my new domain name, how long will it take to go live on the internet? |
It can take 12-48 hours for a new name to be active and go live. This is called "propagation". Your website will not show up during that time. The registry only updates the zone files from their database once every 12 hours, and as domain sales increase, so does the queue. VeriSign Global Registry updates at 5:00 am and 5:00 pm EST. Please know this is under the control of the registry, and Nameway® does not have any abilities to make this happen faster. |

| What if I change my mind, or spell a name wrong. Can I get my money back? |
All sales are final. This is why it is very important to check your order thoroughly before submitting. You do have two chances to review domains and can back out of the order before you select to purchase the domain. If you have a retail account, the information you have under your my account, my info page will indicate which credit card you have in the account. Please make sure this information is current before you make any purchases or renewals, as we are unable to change credit cards once a transaction is submitted. You can update the "shopping cart" page if you wish to change the number of years...or delete the domain from your shopping cart and start over if you spelled it wrong. From the "purchase page", you can back out of the transaction. It's not too late if you notice a spelling mistake or have changed your mind. Hit BACK and make your updates. If you click Purchase these items--the note next to that button
will indicate: |

| What does it mean to "register" a domain name? |
When you register a domain name, you are inserting an entry into a directory of all the domain names and their corresponding computers on the Internet. This allows you to point (or forward) this domain name to your web site, and use it for email. Domain names are registered for a specific period of time (usually in increments of one year) and must be renewed at the end of each registration period. You own the domain for the life of the registration only. If you allow the domain to expire, it will no longer be active and you will not own the domain. If you do not renew the domain in time, the domain eventually becomes available to others to register. Each registry has different rules for how long a domain may (or may not) be held during a grace period, allowing time for the previous registrant to renew the name. You do not lose any time when you renew a domain early. We highly suggest you keep track of your domain expiration dates, and renew well in advance of expiration to avoid unintentional down time or loss of the name. |

| After a domain is deleted, how long until it becomes available for registration? |
Typically a domain will age 42 days after expiration before Nameway® sends a delete command to the registry. That gives the owner some time to correct a possible oversight in renewing the domain. After the delete command is sent, the domain is subject to two 5 day grace periods and one 30 day redemption grace period. Add it all up and it can be 82 days from the expiration date before a domain becomes available again for registration. |

| Your WHOIS lookup indicates that a domain name I'm interested in registering is "expired" yet I am unable to purchase it. Why is this domain still unavailable? |
When a domain name expires Nameway® will normally hold the domain name in a "grace period" for 1 to 42 days in order to allow the previous registrant the chance to renew. During this time, the domain name will not be available for anyone but the previous registrant. Once Nameway® has deleted (dropped) the domain name the Registry may hold it for an additional 30 day "redemption period." During this period the domain will not be available for registration and may only be redeemed by Nameway® for the previous Registrant. In most cases you can expect a domain name to become available approximately 75 days after expiration if the previous registrant chooses not to renew. To increase your chances of registering this domain name once it has become available, periodically check the availability on Nameway®'s web site using the check a domain name box at the top of any page. |

| How do I add domains to my Watch List under the Names Of Interest tab in my account? |
Domains are automatically added to your Watch List when you've used the register a list tool to check the availability of a list of domains at once. Any domains from your list that were not available will be added to your Watch List. To add a domain or list of domains to your Watch List: Log In to your account. From the menu at the left select domain name and then register a
list. The shopping cart will not check the availability of these domains until after you have submitted your order, so continue through the checkout process and click the purchase button at the very end. Your order will be confirmed and the system will begin checking all domains in your list for availability. Available domains will be registered and placed into your account. Domains that are not available will be automatically added to your watch list. It may take a few minutes for this process to complete once you've submitted your order. Soon you will receive an email confirmation of your order, letting you know which domains were registered. You will then be able to check your account and see the unavailable names in your Watch List. |

| Do you register .co.uk or .org.uk domain names? |
Yes. Use the Register a Name or Register a List option. Some notes to remember when registering .UK domains: Currently, contact information modifications are not immediate and may take several hours for the Registry to update. To avoid unnecessary delays, we highly suggest using the pre-configuration page on the shopping cart if you are registering domains for your clients. .UK names require a minimum of two name servers. Name servers changes/updates may take several hours process. Please be sure to enter nameservers on the pre-configuration page of your shopping cart to avoid unnecessary delays. Please visit www.nameway.co.uk for more information. |
